Twelve-piece band Dark Side of the Hudson returns to the Nyack Center to perform Pink Floyd’s 1977 release, “Animals,” 1975 release “Wish You Were Here,” and 1973 release “Dark Side of the Moon” note for note, exactly as you remember them, in front of Pink Floyd’s original stage projections and other original visual content. Music has accompanied movies since even before sound was attached to film, but in the ’60s and ’70s concert producers and bands like Pink Floyd inverted the traditional movie score by adding movies to live music. Dark Side of the Hudson pays homage to three great rock albums in an atmospheric journey through time and space that unites the art of music with the art of the motion picture.
Dark Side of the Hudson sold out a performance of two of these albums at the Nyack Center in 2014, and this one is sure to sell out fast. A small number of tickets will be held back to sell at the door. One, incredible, not to be missed performance!
Arrive at 7:00 for good seats.
A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door for $25.
