“Visionary. Few films glow as brightly with the gemlike fire of precocious genius.” – Richard Brody, The New Yorker

“What’s remarkable about this wondrously assured debut is that technique never overwhelms feeling, in part because Kogonada makes the two seem inextricably, harmoniously linked.” – Justin Chang, Los Angeles Times

“This is a film about how to connect to each other through art, and how to live inside our connected lives as though they were planned structures, designed with the intention to unite, inspire, heal and comfort.” – Jessica Kiang, Playlist

“The quietly stirring, exquisitely photographed Columbus is an art house gem that beautifully illuminates not only the architecture of a small Indiana town, but also the characters who inhabit it.” David Lewis, San Francisco Chronicle
