Drawn back to Haiti by the 2010 earthquake, the filmmakers reveal the tragedy from an intimate and personal perspective. Even in the face of tragedy they find moments of inspiration and laughter, and ways to strike a balance between suffering and joy. Lakay is a story about family, and Haiti, and about all the families and countries we have left behind. USA, 2014, 83 minutes.
A portion of the proceeds from the screening will go to Christians United for Haiti, Inc., Orphanage Projects in Haiti.
