Edward Hopper, who inspired many filmmakers (and still does) and in return was inspired by them, was known to be an admirer of this film in particular. What better place to see a film that Hopper enjoyed than his own backyard?

The Third Man is presented as part of a multi-media installation by Kris Burns which currently on exhibit in the Hopper Hallway Gallery until August 31.
