The creative process is a mystery, known only to the artist.

Not always.

On Saturday, January 16, Rivertown Film gives guests a peek into this “mystery” at its 2nd annual What Inspires You? Powered by PechaKucha Benefit. “Pecha Kucha” is a Japanese term for the sound of conversation (chit-chat), originally conceived as a setting where creative people in all walks of life could meet, show their work, and exchange ideas. Thirteen artists from various disciplines – photographer, filmmaker, musician, dancer, designer, painter, sculptor, and more – reveal in rapid fire what inspires them with 20 slides, at 20 seconds per slide. There will be performances, entertainment, and an opportunity for socializing with friends and artists before and after the main event.
